GROUND FLOOR: On the ground floor, you’ll find a welcoming entrance area with a convenient boot room, a spacious family shower room, and three of the four bedrooms. The first bedroom, located at the front of the house, offers two twin beds, with the generous family shower room situated directly opposite.
At the rear of the house, overlooking Clearwater Lake, you’ll find two beautifully designed double bedrooms. The larger master bedroom (Bedroom 2) features a king bed, double integrated wardrobes, and a smart TV, with an ensuite bathroom offering a bathtub with shower above. Bedroom 3 includes a double bed and double wardrobes. Both bedrooms open directly onto the large outdoor terrace, where you can soak up stunning Clearwater Lake views.
Thanks to the property’s aspect, it enjoys sunshine for much of the day - morning light is especially blissful with a coffee on the decking. This spacious decking area is a standout highlight, with outdoor seating and a dining table creating the perfect place to unwind while watching the resident wildlife and passing paddleboarders.
FIRST FLOOR: The first floor offers an open plan lounge and kitchen/dining area and is the hub of the house thanks to its stunning vaulted ceiling and floor to ceiling windows which frame the picturesque lake views. The well thought out and modern décor of the living space allows for comfortable and stylish living, alongside a smart TV and super-fast broadband throughout the home. The stylish, modern Scandinavian wood burner is a standout feature and the perfect centrepiece for groups to gather around the fire. The fully equipped open-plan kitchen and dining area creates an ideal entertaining space for families and/or friends. Step out onto the rear balcony overlooking the lake, with comfortable seating for up to 6 and a table for an alfresco breakfast - or enjoy a sunrise coffee from the provided Nespresso machine (standard pods).
Additionally, the first floor provides a further WC and utility options; including both washing machine and a separate tumble dryer (and wine fridge!)
SECOND FLOOR: The mezzanine level provides a large open sleeping area with elevated views over Clearwater Lake. With a double bed and wardrobes, there are two further single beds on this level - providing families with a degree of flexibility - sleeping 4 in total. The family shower room on the ground floor and WC on floor below are good options for this flexible room.
N.B. the mezzanine bedroom is open to the living area below.
PETS: Firecrest is a dog friendly house and welcomes guests with up to 2 small/medium sized dogs by prior arrangement.

STATED GROUP SIZE: Bookings are accepted on the group size & configuration stated at the time of booking. Any changes to this would require permission. Lower Mill Estate is a gated and warden controlled private estate and we provide the Estate with all guest group sizes and group dynamics prior to arrival, which are confirmed at the time of booking. DAY VISITORS: Day visitors to the Property may be permitted with our prior consent, at our discretion, provided that the total group (including visitors) does not exceed the maximum occupancy of the Property. SPA ACCESS: All but 60 seconds walk to the Luxury Spa complex, of which you get full rental access during your stay, allowing you and your family and friends to use the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Outdoor pools are closed during the low season. NATURE FIRST: Lower Mill Estate is a nature first environment and we are all guests of nature. As such, things like certain lakes being closed in off season for nesting, low level lighting at night, reeds being left to grow to full height, is part of managing the unique environment and eco system. PARKING: Each property on the Estate has one designated parking space within a few yards of their front door. All other vehicles can make use of the nearby additional communal visitor spaces and/or the overflow car parks. Please do try and limit the number of cars where possible. TRAVEL COT OPTION: We are unable to supply bedding or a mattress thicker than the ‘wrap around base’ that the travel cot comes with. For your reference, the approx. size of a standard travel cot is 60-65cm x 95-100cm. LAKE SAFETY: The garden/decking areas could be open to the water, so additional care must be taken at all times. PETS: we request that care is taken to prevent any additional damage caused from pets. For example, please wipe paws on entry to lodge. Please do not allow your dogs on any furniture/sofas and/or on beds.
