A larger scale to many properties of its type, Corinium allows natural light to fill the huge atrium & bounce through the home. Thus, providing this larger plan home with stunning and ever changing views from all angles throughout the day.

The home has 3 substantial balconies and terrace areas - one with hot tub and another with elevated dining, affording stunning views as the sun sets.

GROUND FLOOR: The ground floor of the property is home to a welcoming entrance area, a family bathroom and 3 of the 5 bedrooms. The first bedroom at the front of the house features a king size bed and a double wardrobe. Towards the back of the house, you will find the master bedroom, spanning the entire width of the property – another bonus of this home being bespoke and built off plan. With a large ensuite featuring both a separate bathtub and shower cubicle, this master bedroom is more of a suite than a room. With direct access from the floor to ceiling glazed doors, you can step straight out onto the large ground floor terrace. With balustrades surrounding this decking area, sit and relax in your hot tub or on the outdoor sofas and loungers and gaze across the lake to see wildlife going about their day. Large mirror carp and families of swans will swim up to your deck for a visit. A spiral staircase will also take you to and from the first-floor balcony area, where you can enjoy alfresco dining with outdoor seating for 10 guests. The third of the three bedrooms on the ground floor is a spacious twin room comprising of two full size single beds. Suitable for both children and adults, the room has a large amount of storage space and benefits from 2 double wardrobes. The family bathroom across the hall has a shower that will serve the twin and double room on the ground. A handy utility room with sink and washing machine completes this level.

FIRST FLOOR: On the first floor, the open plan lounge and kitchen/dining area is the hub of the house thanks to the vaulted ceiling and triple height windows which frame the picturesque views. A large L-shaped sofa, two contemporary armchairs, a further sofa, beans bags and a beautifully designed Scandinavian wood burner allow for comfortable and stylish living, alongside a smart TV, Amazon Alexa speaker and super-fast broadband. Once again, the benefit of the one-off larger design allows for a much larger entertaining space for family and/or friends. The open-plan kitchen, breakfast bar and dining area are fully equipped for 10 guests. The rocking chair in the corner adds a further cosy reading nook. Additionally, there is a WC and a cupboard with an array of games and books for any little ones. On this floor, you will also find an outdoor dining area overlooking Howells Mere Lake, affording alfresco dining for you and your guests whilst enjoying the sunsets as the end of the day draws to a close.

It is from this balcony that a spiral staircase will lead you to the decking below. This spacious terrace is the real highlight of the property as it is right on the water (with a safety glass surround) and is the perfect sun trap from which to watch the resident wildlife. The deck has sun-loungers and an L-shaped rattan sofa and a large hot tub.

SECOND FLOOR: At the top of the house, you will find a further master bedroom in a neutral Scandi style, comprising of a king size bed; with dressing table, wardrobe, and ensuite shower room. A further family bathroom serves the 5th and final bedroom in the property - the twin room has two full size single beds and wardrobe.

PETS: Corinium Lodge is a dog friendly house and welcomes guests with up to 2 small/medium sized dogs by prior arrangement.

SORRY NO HEN/STAG GROUPS. By making a reservation you are accepting the Lower Mill Estate's Code of Conduct as per the Terms & Conditions on behalf of yourself and your guests. STATED GROUP SIZE: Bookings are accepted on the group size & configuration stated at the time of booking. Any changes to this would require permission. Lower Mill Estate is a gated and warden controlled private estate and we provide the Estate with all guest group sizes and group dynamics prior to arrival, which are confirmed at the time of booking. DAY VISITORS: Day visitors to the Property may be permitted with our prior consent, at our discretion, provided that the total group (including visitors) does not exceed the maximum occupancy of the Property. SPA ACCESS: All but a 5 minute walk to the Luxury Spa complex, of which you get full rental access during your stay, allowing you and your family and friends to use the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Outdoor pools are closed during the low season. NATURE FIRST: Lower Mill Estate is a nature first environment and we are all guests of nature. As such, things like certain lakes being closed in off season for nesting, low level lighting at night, reeds being left to grow to full height, is part of managing the unique environment and eco system. PARKING: Each property on the Estate has one designated parking space within a few yards of their front door. All other vehicles can make use of the nearby additional communal visitor spaces and/or the overflow car parks. Please do try and limit the number of cars where possible. HOT TUB: All of our hot tubs are maintained by a professional pool company, Messrs, MR Pools. Please do not use the hot tub after 10:30pm to retain the peaceful & respectful environment, in accordance with the Code of Conduct. TRAVEL COT OPTION: We are unable to supply bedding or a mattress thicker than the ‘wrap around base’ that the travel cot comes with. For your reference, the approx. size of a standard travel cot is 60-65cm x 95-100cm. BBQs: Due to insurance restrictions & potential health & safety compliance issues, we have removed BBQs from each property. Therefore, please remember to pack your own, or alternatively purchase a disposable BBQ for alfresco cooking. LAKE SAFETY: All outside terrace areas are child proof and have over waist height glass balustrades all the way around, providing a safe environment for children.
