This beautiful home provides a true sense of place and immediate relaxation with stunning elevated views across Howells Mere Lake and beyond. With a south facing aspect, you’ll find this home to be the perfect spot from which to watch the world go by.

Walking through the front door you are greeted by a warm and welcoming entrance hallway. On the ground floor you will find 2 of the property’s 5 bedrooms; a large master bedroom with double bed and walk in shower en-suite - the room also benefits from a dressing table, wardrobe and large wall mounted Smart TV. With the bed being thoughtfully positioned to face the large ground floor decking area, it offers beautiful morning views of Howells Mere Lake via the floor to ceiling glazed doors that also allow direct access. The second bedroom has a triple bunkbed; with a full-size double bed and a single bed above to sleep 3, the room leads onto the ground floor terrace. A family bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle completes the ground floor interior.

Your very own private hot tub (option at £125.00) is the centrepiece on the ground floor decking, a space that is oversized and owing to its clever design hangs out and floats above the waterline. With glazed balustrades wrapping all decking and balcony areas, the cantilevered design suspends them away from the main structure, giving you the impression of almost sitting over the lake. The terrace is completed by a large corner sofa and table, ideal for coffees - and even lunches - whilst enjoying all things Howells Mere Lake has to offer.

The first floor of the property has a further family bathroom with a bathtub and 3 of the property’s 5 bedrooms. At the front of the house, you will find the twin bedroom with two single beds and a double wardrobe, and a double bedroom with a small 4ft double – also with double wardrobe. The master bedroom on this floor offers stunning views of the lake, and with its very own private cantilevered balcony area. An area that stretches the full width of the lodge, it is finished with a private bistro set for two – a perfect spot to watch both resident wildlife and paddleboarders on the lake below. The bedroom comprises a king-size bed, Smart TV, double wardrobe, and a private en-suite shower room. With floor to ceiling glazing along the entirety of one side of the room, this room is the ideal spot to escape to.

It is on the second floor where the property really comes alive. A clever use of space offers contemporary open plan living. A dining space for 10/11 guests and a well-appointed kitchen - also very well equipped – take a back seat as the floor opens right up and you’re presented with one of the most enviable views on the entirety of Howells Mere Lake. With the back of the property completely glazed, the floor to ceiling balcony doors open up and create an extension to the entertainment area. The large balcony with further outdoor dining space and a double swinging egg chair provides the very best tranquil experience in a spot that due to the desirable south facing aspect is a real suntrap. With elevated views that continue beyond Howells Mere Lake and into the nature reserve beyond, you’ll relish the time you spend out here. The lounge has a large Smart TV, comfortable sofas and a corner snug with a contemporary armchair and gas effect wood burner; allowing for comfortable and stylish living, alongside an Alexa smart speaker and super-fast fibre broadband. A smaller TV in the corner snug comes with an Xbox and games, books, DVDs, board games and even a basket of borrowable items such as tennis rackets. You really do have everything that is required whether the sun is shining or not.

Wren Lodge is a dog friendly house and welcomes guests with a small/medium sized dog by prior arrangement. The home comes with super-fast WiFi and is a short walk to the Luxury Spa complex, of which you get full rental access during your stay, allowing you and your family and/or friends use of the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Wren Lodge is offered with the option of hiring a 6 person HOT TUB, located on the private balcony area of your property, set lakeside with wonderful views of Howells Mere Lake. Option at 125.00 for the full duration of your stay.

Please note that due to insurance restrictions & potential health & safety compliance issues, we had to remove the BBQ's from each property. Therefore our lodges do not have a BBQ, so please remember to pack your own or alternatively purchase a disposable BBQ for alfresco cooking
