Set back from the road and nestled between the trees, lies the contemporary Yew Tree Lodge. The external porch with bench and coat hooks allows children to shake off wellies before entering the property and down the long inviting hallway towards the hub of the house. A wide opening to the property allows further space to sit and kick off your shoes. Turning right, you walk into a well-appointed - and equipped - kitchen, complete with breakfast bar, making it a sociable area for those wishing to try out their culinary skills. The kitchen flows through to the open plan dining area - with seating for 10 - in the centre of the house.

Further down lies the living area that is filled with natural light. It is at this point that you are greeted with your first sight of the beautifully mature, Clearwater Lake. This maturity of Clearwater gives you both a sense of privacy, whilst affording beautiful views of the water. The lake's flora and colours change season on season, so your view changes throughout the year. With a large corner sofa, Scandinavian style wood burner and large Smart TV, this really is the hub of the home. The ground floor also has a convenient WC.

Opening the floor to ceiling glazed doors directly from the living room, you can step out onto your private ground floor decking area. Having this door open allows for a free-flowing design and continuation to the lodge's entertainment space, offering relaxation indoors and out. The expansive ground floor decking area, flanked by planted screens for additional privacy, has an alfresco dining area for those lovely lunches, evening drinks, and morning coffees. A newly installed hot tub (option at £125.00) now sits proudly overlooking the lake. Dropping down onto the small garden area before making the most of the steps to launch your paddleboards and kayaks directly onto the lake. Please note that this area does not have balustrades.

The first floor of the property has 3 of the 4 bedrooms. To the left is the vast master bedroom. With its double height ceiling and large floor space, this bedroom has been cleverly designed to make the most of the view from the additional balcony area that lies to the left of the king size bed - offering stunning views of Clearwater Lake when waking. The covered, and rather large, private balcony has two comfortable sun loungers - perfect for that relaxing morning coffee. The master bedroom also has two double wardrobes and an ensuite shower room. Across the landing is a twin room with two full size single beds, again with an integrated double wardrobe. The third bedroom on this floor sleeps 3 guests on a triple bunkbed - a full-sized double bed and a single bed above. An integrated double wardrobe completes the room. The family bathroom with bath and shower above serves the twin and triple bunkbed rooms. On the second floor you'll find another landing area, from which a further double bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, and ensuite with bathtub and shower above.

Yew Tree comes with super-fast WiFi, is pet friendly, and is all but 60 seconds walk to the Luxury Spa complex, of which you get full rental access during your stay, allowing you and your family and/or friends use of the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. You will also be able to book yourselves some of the amazing treatments the Spa have to offer. Please visit our dedicated Lower Mill Spa page where you will also find lots of information on treatments and swimming pools available to you and your guests during your stay with us. The home has dedicated parking for two cars in an electrically operated gated car park near the property. Other vehicles can make use of visitor 'V' spaces, or the overflow car parks.

Please note that the 'single Z bed' in the master bedroom can be moved and could fit in the second floor double bedroom also. This option, however, is not suitable for an adult; we would recommend using this as a single bed for child or teenager only

Yew Tree Lodge - Hot Tub:

Yew Tree is now offered with the option of hiring a 6 person HOT TUB, located on the private balcony area of your property, set lakeside with wonderful views of Clearwater Lake. Option at 125.00 for the full duration of your stay.

Please note that due to insurance restrictions & potential health & safety compliance issues, we had to remove the BBQ's from each property. Therefore our lodges do not have a BBQ, so please remember to pack your own or alternatively purchase a disposable BBQ for alfresco cooking
